Collins, a neurologist and psychologist, refutes the claims of Couéism–healing through mental suggestion–as unscientific and a product of the imagination. Collins references Christian Science as an example of Couéism but the Church claims the opposite–that Christian Science is “the natural operation of the corrective and curative power of divine Mind [God] in human consciousness.”
